Welcome to Pack 165!

Welcome to Pack 165's website.  This is where we keep our members up to date with all of our happenings.  We are always looking for members to join.  

Our scouts have a lot of fun while camping, swimming, hiking, doing fundraisers and community service projects.  Scouting is a great way for your son to learn the value of citizenship, service, physical and mental fitness and leadership.   Our scouts consist of boys from Wellington Elementary and New Horizons Elementary Schools and we welcome those from any other school as well.  Our meetings are held at Wellington Elementary School monthly.  Use the "Contact Us" link on the left hand side to find out more information about our pack and when our meetings are held.  


Pack Service Project/Family Picnic

Save the Date!!  Saturday May 10th, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Service project at the Okeeheelee Nature Center walking trails.  

Family picnic to follow at the Micanopy Pavilion in Okeeheelee.  Good food and fun activities to be planned.

Also, our second annual Adult/Cub cake baking contest.  Pull out the old family recipe for the best cake ever and bake it with your cub.  We will select judges at the picnic to taste all the delicious samples and select their favorite.  Prizes will be awarded for top 3 winners.  

Please sign up for this event on the calendar (or right hand side of this screen) so that we can plan the food needed.  

Camp Cards

Camp Card sales are coming to a close.  All money is due by April 30th.  You can turn in all sales and unsold cards by April's pack meeting on 4/21/14 or to your den leader by the end of the month. 

New volunteer needs

There continues to be several volunteer needs in our Pack.  

Volunteers needed include:

  • ***Assistant Cub Master
  • Assistant Den Leaders (Tigers, Bears)
  • Camping chair - help plan our camping trips including reserving the campground, obtaining permits, arranging meals, etc
  • Fundraising chair - help out with popcorn sales in fall, camp card sales in spring, car washes and any other fund raising needs in between
  • Blue & Gold dinner chair
  • Assistants at events (i.e. helpers at Raingutter Regatta, Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold, camping - jobs include checking in/weighing pinewood cars, checking in boats, grilling at camping or picnic events these will be decided on an event by event basis)

Class B shirts for sale

We have all sizes available from kids Small to adult XL.

Cost is $10 each.
