Welcome to Pack 165!

Welcome to Pack 165's website.  This is where we keep our members up to date with all of our happenings.  We are always looking for members to join.

Our scouts have a lot of fun while camping, swimming, hiking, doing fundraisers and community service projects.  Scouting is a great way for your son to learn the value of citizenship, service, physical and mental fitness and leadership.   Our scouts consist of boys from Wellington Elementary and New Horizons Elementary Schools and we welcome those from any other school as well.  Our meetings are held at Wellington Elementary School monthly.  Use the "Contact Us" link on the left hand side to find out more information about our pack and when our meetings are held.

Scouting For Food

Posted on Oct 26 2014 - 10:40pm

Scouting for Food is a National Good Turn of the Boy Scouts of America.  Since 1988, over 200 million pounds of food has been gathered, making this the single largest food collection effort in the history of the United States.  Scouts in the Gulf Stream Council collected over 100,000 pounds of food.  Local food banks and relief agencies within the communities distribute the food.  We are the only source for most relief agencies for restocking their shelves before the Christmas season.

Please join us at 9:00 AM in the parking lot of the Wellington Library on Saturday November 1st to find out which neighborhood you will be assigned to put door hangers up.  We will then, 1 week later, collect the food that has been left out.
