Welcome to Pack 165!

Welcome to Pack 165's website.  This is where we keep our members up to date with all of our happenings.  We are always looking for members to join.

Our scouts have a lot of fun while camping, swimming, hiking, doing fundraisers and community service projects.  Scouting is a great way for your son to learn the value of citizenship, service, physical and mental fitness and leadership.   Our scouts consist of boys from Wellington and the surrounding communities.  Our meetings are held at Wellington Elementary School monthly.  Use the "Contact Us" link on the left hand side to find out more information about our pack and when our meetings are held.

School Night for Scouting

Posted on Aug 2 2015 - 10:40am

We are having our annual recruitment night on Thursday, August 27th at 7 PM in the Wellington Elementary Cafeteria.

We should have a Boy Scout Troop there like last year that will be helping out and doing activities with the scouts.  Have your scout bring a friend and if his friend signs up, your scout will earn a recruiter badge to put on his uniform!!

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Popcorn Kick-off Training

Posted on Aug 2 2015 - 10:36am

It's time to start thinking about popcorn sales!!!  These sales are our single greatest fundraiser for the pack as well as the council.  Full participation in the selling of popcorn allows our pack to keep registration costs and the costs of all the activities we do, at a minimum.

As i have said in the past, we need extra help this year for popcorn sales as this will be my last year running the show.  Council is putting on a training event Saturday 8/8/16 at Muvico theaters.  Training will be an hour and then it will be followed by a free showing of the Minions (with free popcorn!!)

If you are interested in attending this, along with me and David, please let me know and I will get you signed up (kids are welcome too!).

New Leaders/Committee Members Needed

Posted on May 17 2015 - 12:27pm

We are still seeking people to help out with the following positions: Cub Master, Committee Chair, Treasurer, Charter Organization Rep, Advancement Chair.

Click on attachment for a brief description of these positions.  You will also see other possible positions for the pack if you are interested in something else.

We know people are concerned about how much time it would take to perform the duties of these positions, it really does not take as much time as you may think and the more people that come forward to help, then the less time is needed to put forth!

Please contact David Taylor or Christine Grant if you are interested.
